The Yarra Trio

A dynamic piano trio of young musicians is taking Australia by storm. The Yarra Trio consists of Jess Ipkendanz (violin), Chris Howlett (Cello) and Stefan Cassomenos (piano).

May 28 - INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS - The Yarra Trio are thrilled to report they made the final (top four) of the 2009 “Trio di Trieste” International Competition in Italy, and won the North Trieste Rotary Club Special Award for the best performance of the contemporary set work

April 1 - COFFEE CONCERT - The Yarra Trio Coffee Concert 1 will be held at the Australian National Academy of Music at 530 pm on Monday April 27 2009. This is a free concert for 2009 ticket holders and we look forward meeting you afterwards while enjoying a cup of Bio Bean Coffee.

March - The Yarra Trio would like to welcome Bio Bean Coffee as their offical coffee sponsor, that will be served at trio's coffee concerts.

February 28 - The Yarra Trio will head to Northern Italy on May 16 to compete in a competition and perform.
